System Description: This system provides locations and box numbers of inactive records created by Wackenhut Services, Inc., the security contractor at the Savannah River Site. Boxes are tracked by barcodes. Although the system is currently updated by Wackenhut Information Management Services staff, it will be upgraded to have multiple user capabilities so that individual records custodians may enter data from remote work stations. Other anticipated upgrades will enable the system to provide records custodians' names and locations, active records transfer information, records retention and disposition citations, classification levels, and box level descriptions.
