Series Description: This series consists of weekly and
monthly reports of environmental monitoring data from radiation release points
throughout the Savannah River Site. Information includes card code, sample
type, counter type, analysis type, location, duration of release, concentration,
volume, release value, and release units. Samples are analyzed for alpha and
beta-gamma radiation, noble gas nuclides, tritium, cobalt-60, strontium-90,
cesium-134, and cesium-137. Other information includes amounts of monthly
miscellaneous liquid releases, purge amounts, estimated curies of atmospheric
tritium releases, discharged deionized water, curie counts of seepage basins,
and oil and chemical waste. Interoffice memoranda providing weekly data on
processed samples, analytes, results, monitoring results of exposed individuals
and specific locations are also included.
