Series Description: This series consists of forms and interoffice memoranda requesting and granting permission to enter radiation zones (RZ) throughout the Savannah River Site. The requests provide name of employee requesting access, reason for access, department granting access, building area, and date and time of follow-up physical examination. This series also contains memoranda written by employees who were exposed to radiation in RZs which include employee name, associated dates, location of exposure, and exposure in millirads (mrad). Individuals granted access to RZs and employees who received exposures over 65 mrad are also identified.
