Series Description: This series documents the process used to bond beryllium components into assemblies that were sent to the Y-12 Plant at Oak Ridge and to the Pantex site. Most of the records deal with bond failures and include correspondence, meeting minutes, transparencies, background data, and handwritten notes. Also included are orders to cease using the process, reports from the task force assigned to study the process, and photographs and slides of faulty components.
