Series Description: This series consists of memoranda, correspondence, reports, black-and-white photographs, bibliographies, meeting minutes, and manufacturing and shipping data pertaining to beryllium production. Of particular interest are a copy of a 1961 report of an explosion in a Building 444 vacuum furnace and similar incidents at other sites; beryllium fabrication and forging process reports; pit data; general industry information; and feasibility studies for processing and storing components, pits, and scrap.
