Series Description: This series contains a report issued by the Dow Chemical Company titled Criticality Survey of Building 71 and dated July 19, 1955. Included in this report are a number of schematics for the Room 180 Development Laboratory indicating location of each work station and maximum measurements for equipment (e.g., large lathe, manual roller conveyor). The drawings show the layout of the room prior to the outbreak of the fire in 1957. A report dated September 13, 1962, titled History of Criticality Recommendations for Building 71, includes schematics, descriptions of equipment, and dimensions for Room 180 as of November 28, 1961.
