Series Description: This series consists of monthly reports prepared by the University of Washington which contracted with the Department of Energy (DOE) to administer the Health Surveillance System. The reports provide summary information regarding health events (i.e., the occurrence of serious illness and injury) among employees at several DOE sites, including Brookhaven National Laboratory, Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, and Hanford. The reports include charts on events by entry and occurrence date, statistics for disease types, a list of events reported, and a description of the illness or injury.
