The Office of Scientific and Technical Information (formerly called the Technical Information Center) has two main responsibilities: it collects all of the published reports--classified and unclassified--that the government and its contractors produce on nuclear science and technology, and it maintains records of all technical information. Bibliographic information on the reports can be retrieved through commercial databases.
