Series Description: This series consists of work clearance permits that authorize work in confined spaces or hazardous areas. Information includes descriptions of activity, safety analysis requirements, special protective equipment, and tests required as well as references to safety manuals. Interfiled with the permits are requirements for entry into confined spaces or vessels that provide the name and location of vessel, operating department, purpose of entry, preparation, preventive measures, analysis of hazard, test analysis data given as a percentage, and approval for entry. Logs furnishing the names of employees entering the vessel and date and time of entry are also included.
