System Description: This system, commonly referred to as the Human Resources Database, is used primarily to prepare the Savannah River Site (SRS) payroll and, secondarily, to collect and disseminate personnel and other employment data. The Medical, Radiological Control and Health Physics, and Occupational Safety and Health departments access the system's Site Personnel Roster ASCII file to supplement and verify other sources of employee data. Data includes employee name; social security number; home address and phone number; emergency contact address and phone number; race; sex; education level, major, and degree; SRS department, address, and phone number; hire and termination dates, SRS service dates; Equal Opportunity Employment category; and an indication of partial or permanent disability. Prior to 1989, E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company processed employee payroll in Wilmington, Delaware. Input to the system is taken from timecards, Change of Status Forms, and Personnel Information Change Forms.
