Series Description: This series contains calibration and
quality assurance checks of external dosimetry, bioassay, and environmental
background counters. These instruments, each identified by an instrument or
serial number, monitor background levels of uranium, plutonium, and cesium
nuclides. Data includes calibration date, source sample date and number, alpha
and beta-gamma disintegration, background radiation level and variance,
potential for overexposure, and actual overexposure. Also included are
plutonium and uranium control charts, results of mass spectroscopic analysis of
bioassay samples, and procedures for calibrating monitoring instruments.
