Series Description: This series contains draft and final reports titled Safety Analysis Reports, Final Safety Analysis Report, Interim Safety Analysis Report, and Safety Assessments, which identify and assess safety concerns, deficiencies, and noncompliance with various Department of Energy Orders, including 5480.5, 5480.23, and 5481.1B (Plant Facilities). Topics of interest include the ATMX [Atomic Materials Rail Transfer] Railcar containment system, the Plutonium Recovery Facility (Building 371), temporary pondcrete and saltcrete storage facilities on the 750 and 904 pads, the decontamination and decommissioning of Building 317, design criteria, site characteristics, safety assessments, nuclear criticality measurements, environmental monitoring, accident analyses, employment training, waste management, special nuclear materials safeguards, and quality assurance programs.
