Series Description: The Department of Energy's Special Environmental Team prepared this series of documents, titled Assessment of Environmental Conditions at the Rocky Flats Plant, to report the results of an environmental audit performed at the plant from June 6-July 21, 1989. Among the topics addressed were air, water, inactive waste, and effluent sampling; well construction and design; asbestos and beryllium monitoring; and toxic waste disposal. The report also assessed the plant's radiation quality assurance procedures, waste management activities, and compliance with the National Governmental Policy Act.
