Series Description: Vendor Inspection and Certification Records were used to insure that raw materials and components supplied by vendors for use and assembly at Rocky Flats met the design, manufacturing specifications, and quality controls for the appropriate weapon program. Test results may also accompany these inspection and certification records. The records are comprised of one or more of the following data items: Quality Assurance Lot number; item identification number; part number; part use; Department of Energy part number; casting/batch number; War Reserve program/lot number; "I&A" drawing and revision numbers; materials specification certification drawing sheet and revision numbers; "Accept, Scrap, Salvage, Rework, or Deviation" designation; deviation number; deviation data; final disposition code; shipment addresses; date; reference number; certified part/"SA" type number; submission status (whether an original or resubmission); inspection instructions; lot size; material and process certification numbers; date; remarks; and authorization and acceptance signatures and stamps.
