Series Description: This series consists of medical test results from the Beryllium Surveillance program. In particular, the series is comprised of results from Lymphocyte Transformation Tests and from pulmonary functions tests. Although X-rays are not included, the series contains notification letters sent to participants which indicate whether their chest X-rays were "compatible with a diagnosis of chronic beryllium disease." Some employees' health histories are also included. Records in Room 171 document cases which required extensive follow-up testing.
