Series Description: This series consists of files created for various health research projects conducted by plant physicians. The series contains autopsy reports, presumably relating to former employees; calibration notebooks and graphs; analyses of tissue and bone; information concerning the calculation of organ doses; background air sampling logs; and several research notebooks relating to the long-term health effects of plutonium. Included are notebooks or reports labeled Old Prediction Graphs, Results of Samples Tested for Radiation Contamination on Plant Equipment, Data Log Book, and Worker Safety and Worker Risk at the Rocky Flats Plant. Records in Building 122 document an animal study of translocation dynamics of plutonium absorbed through wounds. Records in Building 123 include progress reports for studies. Attached to these reports are sealed envelopes, which most likely contain confidential employee information.

For records which may be related, see Volume VII. Alpha Analysis Logs, 1973-1985.
