Series Description: These reports discuss problems identified by the Criticality Group of the Nuclear Safety Committee. Meeting minutes dated October 1, 1957, discuss a number of "near misses" in Building 71 (though not Room 180 specifically). The minutes briefly describe three incidents, the circumstances surrounding them, and corrective actions taken. A Nuclear Safety Audit dated October 16-17, 1958, indicates that Buildings 71 and 81 "had a higher-than-normal sensitivity to nuclear accidents because of inventory uncertainties."
