Series Description: This series consists of computer-generated lists of Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) employees. The lists were generated from several different computer files and databases and are sorted in various ways. The Health Study of Workers (HSW) Dump File, created in 1976, lists plutonium workers alphabetically by surname and provides employee social security numbers, spouses' names, addresses, sex, dates and places of birth, race, educational backgrounds, smoking habits, employment classes, years at risk, sample/accident data, plutonium238 and 239 body burden measurements, vital status, dates and places of death, job and illness histories, contact names, and whether employee was included in the original group of the Manhattan Project plutonium workers.

Also included are reports generated in 1974 from the HSW F-110 group, using the Fortran codes PUQFUA1 and PUQFUA2 [Plutonium body burden (Q) From Urine Assays-1 and 2] for calculating body burdens. These reports list employees numerically by Z number and include employee names, social security numbers, groups, sex, calculation dates for plutonium239, line numbers, calendar and integer dates, urinalysis results in picocuries, isotope or validation keys, potential accident keys, incremental and cumulative current body burdens in nanocuries, and incremental and cumulative nanocurie years.

The series also contains reports from the H-1 ID tape, dated 1976, and from the original H-1 file on the S2K database, dated 1978. Both of these reports list LANL employees numerically by Z number and provide employee names, social security numbers, groups, dates and places of birth, sex, termination dates, and accident data. Another list from the H-1 file is sorted by social security number and includes employee names and Z numbers. The H-1 master plutonium data (also the LAHPPU.RAW file) list contains employee names, Z numbers, social security numbers, group codes, birthdates, sex, accident data, lung burden measurements, and urinalysis dates. The H-1 plutonium exposure file report, dated 1974, is sorted alphabetically by surname and lists employee names, Z and social security numbers, group codes, dates and places of birth, sex, vital status, termination dates, and dates of earliest accident and earliest urine sample. The H-1 exposure IDTAPE report, dated 1977, lists LANL employees by Z number and provides employee names, group codes, and total plutonium238 and 239 body burdens. The source programs for these files are located on Tape GH135 and the ADP2GPE database.

The LAHPPU.ALL [Los Alamos Health Physics Plutonium--All Employees] file report provides employee names, Z and social security numbers, group codes, birthdates, sex, accident data, lung burden measurements, and urinalysis dates. This file was created using raw data from the H-1 file (also called LAHPPU.RAW) and social security numbers from the S2K database. A report titled PUINANL-5 lists Los Alamos employees by Z number and gives employee names, social security numbers, and urinalyses dates. The S2KHSW.DIT file report lists Los Alamos employees alphabetically by surname and includes job titles, social security numbers, addresses, sex, dates and places of birth, Z numbers, and hire and termination dates. A report labeled S2KHSW lists Los Alamos employees alphabetically by name and includes social security numbers, addresses, sex, dates and places of birth, Z numbers, and other unidentifiable numerical information. These last four reports are dated 1978-1979.

The list of Los Alamos employees titled LEE0072, and dated 1976, includes employee Z numbers, social security numbers, names, sex, groups, first urine sample dates, birthdates, assigned groups, calculation dates, and measurements for plutonium238 and 239 in nanocuries at the dates of employment terminations.

The computer-generated report titled RVIGARJ, and dated 1978, provides employee names, Z numbers, birth years, group codes, last calculation dates, results in nanocuries, current calculation dates, nanocurie years, last urine sample dates, total number of samples, valid samples, last accepted dates, and measurements for plutonium isotopes.
