Series Description: This series contains analyses and related information prepared in support of the Los Alamos Female Mortality Study. The material consists of four subseries. The first subseries contains data used to prepare the study databases, materials used to trace the vital status of female Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) workers, and National Death Index notes. The second subseries consists of materials related to the database software and includes programming notes. The third subseries consists of reports generated from database searches, compilations of data, and statistical analyses based on the data. Included in this subseries are analytic runs for all white females regardless of duration of employment at LANL, analyses of white females who were exposed or not exposed to external radiation, tables showing causes of death, computer-generated reports of specific causes of death, and education and plutonium analyses. The fourth subseries contains the analytic plan for the study, working notes, and memoranda.
