Series Description: This series contains computer-generated statistical analyses of all causes of death for Los Alamos National Laboratory employees. Statistical information is also provided for different cohorts, including male workers with a history of alcohol consumption. Included are tables indicating annual mortality rates (multiplied by 1000) for five year periods; observed and expected mortality events by age and year; and observed and expected mortality rates for various causes, including all causes, tuberculosis, different types of cancer, accidents, and suicide. At the bottom of each table are calculations for total years of survival; total population; average age of survival, entry, and death; and average year of entry and death. The series also contains programming information for a software program developed at Harvard University by Richard R. Monson.
