File Description: This file, which contains 14,018 records of 71 characters and 11 fields each, provides mortality data for Hanford site construction and operations workers employed between 1944 and early 1991. In June of 1991, the Hanford Environmental Health Foundation assembled information concerning death dates, hand coded International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Ninth Revision causes of death, and the National Center for Health Statistics automated causes of death (ACMEOUT.HANFORD). Pacific Northwest Laboratory added names, birthdates, and ICD, Eighth Revision death causes to this information to create the file.
