Papers of the National Academy of Sciences - National Research Council Committees on the Biological Effects of Atomic Radiation (BEAR) are held by the National Academy of Sciences Archives in Washington, D.C. Folder titles from the finding aid to the collection indicate that the papers deal to some extent with radioactive fallout from nuclear testing. The BEAR papers cover the period 1954-1964.
