Series Description: This series consists of logs of sampling analyses data which were presumably used to create the various sampling reports of the General Laboratory. There are individual logs for daily surface waters, ponds, source calibration, alpha spectrometer samples, gamma spectrometer samples, gamma efficiency standards, and gamma system calibration. Sample types include water, oil, milk, soil, waste, steam, coolants, and beryllium. The samples were analyzed for levels of americium, beryllium, cesium, strontium, tritium, and uranium. There are usually indications in the logs of building, room, or tank numbers from which samples were taken, and many of the logs have notes regarding sampling procedures. Results are given in varying units, reflecting the variety of data in the records.
