Series Description: The Rocky Flats Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Workpapers consist of correspondence, research notes, drafts, background materials, and published scientific reports. Included in the series are the EIS project and schedule; a backup file of scientific findings and articles upon which parts of the EIS were based; a folder of photographs and negatives used to illustrate the EIS; correspondence regarding the hearings held to solicit public reaction to the EIS; correspondence from government officials and scientists who reviewed the draft EIS; worksheets indicating changes to the draft EIS resulting from the review letters; an index to the review letters; and a copy of the final draft of the EIS on 8x10 inch film transparencies.
