Series Description: This series consists of draft and final versions of reports concerning the monitoring of plutonium levels onsite and offsite. The reports are titled Plutonium in Soil Surrounding the Rocky Flats Plant (1971), Committee Evaluation of Plutonium Levels in Soil Within and Surrounding USAEC Installation at Rocky Flats, Colorado (1971), Radiation Standards for Plutonium in Soil (1972), Hearing on Proposed Regulation Relative to Permissible Level of Plutonium in Soil (1973), and A Historical Summation of Environmental Incidents Affecting Soils at or Near the U.S. AEC Rocky Flats Plant (1973). Also included in the series is correspondence between the committees responsible for writing the reports and the members of various scientific, academic, and governmental institutions who were asked to review the drafts.
