Series Description: The Gamma Spectroscopy Sampling Records consist of computer-generated reports which document the gamma radiation levels in water, soil, milk, and dust samples. Data on the reports include sample dates, identification numbers, types, quantities (in liters), and geometry (in "L Marinelli"); test durations; detector identification numbers and calibration dates; and results (in counts per second). Also included in the series are VAX/VMS Nuclide Identification Reports, which list sample types, quantities, and configurations; detector information; and nuclide types, half-life estimates, and decay times (in microcuries per liter). Accession Number 434-92-0059 (Box 722654) contains gamma analyses of sediments and core samples for a special pond sediment analysis project.
