Series Description: This series consists of internal correspondence, analytical reports, and sampling results, all of which document Radiation Monitoring's efforts to prevent the disposal of contaminated waste in the onsite non-radioactive landfill. Included are forms, titled Landfill Survey Findings, which were issued when radioactive waste was found in the landfill. Data on the forms include dates, waste descriptions (e.g., floor sweepings, brooms, overalls, surgeons' gloves, and solvents), and buildings where the waste originated. Also included are incident reports, which note to which "hot" dump the radioactive waste was subsequently sent. The series contains a small number of photographs of waste.
