Series Description: This series consists of an analysis of the deviations in a rejected weapon component. The analysis includes a narrative description of the problems, deviation causes, and analytical techniques used to identify the deviations. Photographs of the component and results of various tests, including nondestructive, tensile, and metallography, are also in the series. Data from the tests are type, part, and radiographic report numbers; limits of resolution; operator names; and authorizing signatures.
