Series Description: This series consists of balance reports generated by the NMMSS [Nuclear Materials Management Safeguards System] to document the shipment and receipt of nuclear materials by Rocky Flats. The reports provide the same information sorted in several ways. Monthly Project Material Balance Reports, Transfer of Material--Receipts/Shipments, Other Removals, and Report of Ending Inventory reports provide project numbers, RIS [Receiving Inspection Station] codes, transaction numbers, element and isotope weights in kilograms, beginning inventory, additions to or subtractions from the inventory, normal operational losses, ending inventory, shipper and receiver names, reasons materials were removed from the inventory, and names of materials awaiting recovery.
