Series Description: Included in this series are safety awards, photographs, and letters or telegrams of congratulations, all of which were received by Rocky Flats from external agencies and organizations. Among the awards are certificates from the City of Denver, the Industrial Commission of Colorado, and the Manufacturing Chemists Association. Also contained in the records are several copies of forms titled Summary of Industrial Injuries, which were submitted with award applications to substantiate Rocky Flats' safety record. These forms provide statistics concerning the rates of employee exposures and numbers of disabling injuries during three-year periods.
