Series Description: This series documents employees' participation in the Department of Energy's (DOE) Fitness Maintenance Program. The series includes Certification Cards, which indicate employee names, identification numbers, shifts, weights, and types of physical exercise performed during the month (e.g., running, cross-country skiing, etc.); Total Minutes Summary Reports, which tabulate the number of minutes employees exercised; statements signed by employees verifying that they "completed physical fitness exercise as mandated by the DOE"; and log sheets indicating the employees who turned in the Certification Cards and those who did not. The program appears to have been instituted for plant protection personnel.
