Series Description: The Shift Logs include employee names, sick hours, buildings worked at, hours worked, machine numbers, types of contamination, descriptions of leaks and spills, and measurements of contamination. While the logs primarily discuss radiation contamination, they also have a few references to chemical contamination. In addition, unusual maintenance activities or procedures are noted, such as glove changes in gloveboxes. The logs are not specific to Building 71 but do contain references to that facility. The log for September 1957 is not included.
