Series Description: Document types included within this collection are laboratory notebooks, photographs, and correspondence of various individuals who worked at the Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) and its predecessor, the University of Chicago Metallurgical Laboratory. A memorandum, ANL-FF-439e, dated March 10, 1954, incorporates an eight-page document which gives a detailed description of Building 71, its monitoring system, and filters and a drawing of the ventilation system. The Department of Energy declassified this document in April 1994. The document is located in Box 40, Box 5 of 5 Pettitt and Foote, folder title ANL-FF-426ANL-FF-4813, document number ANL-FF-439C.
