Series Description: This series consists of a combination of reports and office memoranda discussing fire and property damage due to incidents at the plant site. A file titled Annual Fire and Property Damage Report-1957 contains an Albuquerque Operations Office summary report on the 1957 Rocky Flats fire, which gives information regarding the cost of fire damage, a brief summary of the event, and comparisons with other 1957 accidents and incidents. Also included is an office memorandum summarizing and comparing fire damage from all accidents at Atomic Energy Commission facilities from 1943 to 1957. It also contains a brief description of damage costs of the 1957 Rocky Flats fire. Information on filters dates from 1956.
