Series Description: This record series consists of materials created as part of an early 1970s study of Los Alamos plutonium workers. The files include study correspondence; raw data on Los Alamos workers in the mid-1940s, including employee names, urinalysis dates and results, exposure ratings, accident records, and employers (either University of California or Zia Company); data analyses of body burden readings; and work histories of Zia Company employees, which provide names, Z numbers, job titles, and hire and termination dates. The materials also contain lists of employees involved in plutonium accidents and accident dates; urine and fecal sample test results; and calculated plutonium body burdens, in nanocuries, with badge numbers as identifiers.
