Series Description: This series consists of search results that the Epidemiology Section received from the Social Security Administration (SSA). A list generated from the RLM3SS.SSS file consists of returns from a December 1979 SSA search and includes employee names, social security numbers, vital status, and, when applicable, death dates. A list from file LASSY.SSN, dated 1980, pertains to Los Alamos employees and includes employee social security numbers, vital status, dates of last known vital status, and, when applicable, death dates. A report from file LZASSA, dated 1982, pertains to employees at the Albuquerque Operations Office, Los Alamos, and the Zia Company and provides employee names, social security numbers, and vital status. This last report is divided into three sections sorted by either vital status, employee surname, or social security number.
