Series Description: This record series contains documents related to the Epidemiology Section's study of Human Health Effects of Plutonium. The files contain the following types of documents: a description of research objectives; an analysis of completed and ongoing studies; copies of staff publications that were a part of the study, which contain calculations of radiation exposure and cancer rates; records of meetings of the Advisory Committee on Epidemiology; and a technical report, titled Epidemiology and Biostatistical Research Services to the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, which was prepared by the University of Minnesota School of Public Health (1978-1979) and includes computer database coding information.
