Series Description: This series consists of four main subseries. The first subseries contains data used to prepare the Rocky Flats Brain Cancer Study databases. It includes a list of employees submitted to the Social Security Administration to ascertain vital status, statistics on mortality by occupation, medical records for employees who died of brain tumors, a list of external exposure and body burden rates for individual employees, dosimetry records for two employees, and a folder of employee health histories. Also included in this subseries are selection data for the controls.

The second subseries consists of materials related to the database software. It includes coding and recoding instructions and coding sheets for deceased, random, and matched controls.

The third subseries consists of computer-generated reports of database searches and data compilations, and statistical analyses. Included in this subseries are calculations and analyses comparing the controls (deceased, random, and matched) and rate ratios for white males at Rocky Flats.

The fourth subseries consists of reports, memoranda, and reference material associated with the study. It contains information concerning diagnostic sensitivity bias in relation to the Rocky Flats Brain Cancer Study, drafts of the study, review requests, and review comments.
