Series Description: This record series contains source materials and data analyses for a health study of Pantex workers and for investigations of cancer rates in the Amarillo, Texas, area. The files include the following types of records: tables and computer-generated reports of cancer mortality rates for various Texas counties; lists of Pantex employees with their telephone numbers; background materials for the Pantex study; monthly progress reports; a Pantex site history; a description of industrial hygiene monitoring procedures; information on the creation of the Pantex Environmental Impact Statement; lists of Pantex employees with employee numbers, names, hire and termination dates, current vital status, and death dates; and analyses of mortality rates among Pantex employees for various causes (e.g., all causes, various cancers, etc.).
