File Description: These raw data files pertaining to epidemiologic studies at the Mound Plant contain the following personal identifiers: employee social security numbers, complete names, dates of birth and death, polonium exposure data numbers, and hire and termination dates. LANL obtained the data using personal, work history, vital status, and exposure records. Databases that may exist named MOUND_OCCHIST, XOCCHISTS_ORID, and MOUND_PU_ ORID are not correct and were not used by LANL's epidemiology staff. The files MND_PEOPLE_88 and NEW_MND_PEOPLE are older versions of MND_PEOPLE_ORID.

Several of the computer files pertaining to Mound involve the ascertainment of the current vital status of former plant employees. Files whose names have the extension .FDF generally contain vital status information provided by Pensions and Benefits Incorporated.
