File Description: 1) This file pertains to Los Alamos National Laboratory's (LANL) 1985 request for the Health Care Financing Administration to search its records for vital status ascertainment purposes. Data in this file relates to Mound, LANL, and Rocky Flats cohorts. 2) This group of files provides supporting data for a lung cancer case control study that an epidemiology staff member conducted as part of dissertation research. The unnamed study was not completed and did not generate any publications. Included in the study were lung cancer cases from the Rocky Flats, Zia Company, and LANL cohorts and control cases selected from these groups. In addition, some job history information and rudimentary smoking data was abstracted for this group of people. The database titled RFLA_NEW_LUNG is the most complete version of the database. 3) This group of files are Social Security Administration submissions covering LANL, Zia Company, Rocky Flats, and Mound Plant. 4) This computer file is a submission to the National Death Index and covers employees from Rocky Flats, Zia Company, LANL, and the Mound Plant. 5) The PSQ database contains information derived from Personnel Security Questionnaires of workers at Rocky Flats, Pantex, Mound, Albuquerque Operations Office, Zia Company, LANL, Sandia, and several smaller facilities. Researchers should note that data concerning the Savannah River Plant does not exist in this database.
