Series Description: This series contains office memoranda created or maintained by the Epidemiology Section of the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Among the subjects addressed in the memoranda are the 1980 meeting of the Advisory Committee for the Hanford Environmental Health Foundation Project; the confidentiality and use of death certificates; the utilization of the Internal Revenue Service Form 941A for epidemiologic studies; and department of motor vehicles and Social Security Administration search returns. Also included are descriptions of the radiation exposure files and of computer tape contents, storage, access, and data confidentiality; memoranda concerning external exposure data and coding instructions; a Health Care Financing Administration submission; information for the Dosimetry Evaluation Book; a 1944 LANL organizational chart; and information from 24 LANL employee medical cards, which provide the employees' names, addresses, units, dates and places of birth, nationalities, and clearance status.
