Series Description: The Hanford Area Autopsy Records consist of information abstracted from Kadlec Hospital's autopsy records. Kadlec is a local hospital that primarily served workers at Hanford. Personal identifiers listed are names, sex, social security numbers, ages, occupations, and either length of Hanford residency or an indication of nonresidence status. Medical information regarding the decedents includes principle diagnoses, death dates, hospital case numbers, and autopsy case numbers. For Hanford employees, indications are made as to whether the decedents were operations or construction workers. Additionally, some individual entries are underlined with red pen if the principle diagnosis was cancer-related and green pen if the principal diagnosis was related to heart disease.
