Series Description: This series consists of routine administrative memoranda and correspondence, background information, committee meeting minutes, publications, and reports maintained by the director of the Hanford Health and Mortality Study (HMS). Although most of the records pertain to routine administrative tasks, some items of interest include advisory meeting notes and project proposals for the U.S. Transuranium Registry, the Health Surveillance System, and the HMS. Also included is a file titled Hanford Medical Examination File (HME), which pertains to the maintenance and use of plant medical statistics, and reprints of articles and speeches regarding worker radiation exposure at DOE sites.
