Series Description: This series consists of a variety of records relating to the Asbestos Abatement Program, the purpose of which was to locate, monitor, and eliminate asbestos from onsite buildings. The series contains correspondence, memoranda, sampling forms, worksheets, floor plans, procedures, employee lists, laboratory analytical reports, draft training manuals, and photographs of areas with asbestos. Subjects addressed include worker activity, asbestos sampling procedures and results, planning and regulations, and equipment. Also included are personal air sampling data sheets, which indicate employees' names and the measurements of asbestos to which each person was exposed. For related records, see Volume III.
