Series Description: The Air Duct Sampling Records consist of worksheets documenting the radioactivity of air samples from air ducts and exhaust stacks, primarily in Buildings 771, 772, 774, 776, and 777. Data include sampling dates, times, rates (given in cubic meters per minute), total volumes (in cubic meters), and results in CPM [counts per minute]. Accession Number 326-82-0003 contains forms titled Calculation Sheets--Amount of Material Exhausted to the Environment, which provide total stack volume exhausted (in cubic meters x 106) and total alpha activity (in disintegrations per minute x 104). Accession Number 434-94-0040 contains reports titled The Deposition of Particulates in Air Sampling Tubes, The In-Place Testing of Multiple Stages of High Efficiency Air Filters, and Filter Plenum Test Method Using Radiometric Techniques. For other air duct sampling records, see Volume VI. Routine and Special Air Sampling Records, 1963-1972, 1976-1988, 1990, 1992. Data Elements: 77, 102-103, 118-119, 121, 123-124 |
