Series Description: This series is comprised of a report titled An Aerial Radiological Survey of the United States Department of Energy's Rocky Flats Plant and Surrounding Area. The purpose of the survey was to measure natural and manmade gamma radiation from the terrain surface in and around the plant. These measurements were then used to estimate levels of americium-241 and cesium-137. The report includes a description of the survey methodology, equipment used, ground measurements and procedures, and aerial survey data and results.
