Series Description: Development Job Orders (DJOs) are special orders, usually to vendors or contractors, for specific, limited work tasks (e.g., fabricating special components or creating design and procedure specifications for new components or assemblies). The series contains DJO authorization forms, copies of purchase orders, shipment records, special order certification data sheets, and assembly process cards, which relate to the job being ordered. Information found in the records includes DJO number; the project engineer's name; approval signatures; PO [Purchase Order] number; date; title of the equipment, material, or service requested; raw material source; part serial number; employee number; estimated hours needed to perform the work; Rocky Flats drawing number; inspection dates and results; radiographic report number; group account number; classification level; comments; and completion date.
