Series Description: This series consists of X-rays which were taken of individual employees throughout the duration of their employment at Rocky Flats, including those routinely taken when employees terminated their employment. Employee X-rays are contained in envelopes labeled with various types of information, which may include employee names, addresses, identification and case numbers, building assignments, shifts, positions, and termination dates (if any). The body parts which were X-rayed (e.g., lumbar, spine, chest, etc.) are also usually noted on the envelopes. A small number of the envelopes contain computer-generated diagnostic reports and recommendations concerning follow-up testing. Many of the X-rays dating from 1987 onward are stamped or marked "Beryllium," "Beryllium Surveillance," and "Asbestos," indicating that they were produced for Occupational Health's Beryllium Surveillance Program (which also monitors asbestos exposure).
