Such research involved instrument development, waste disposal, theoretical physics, experimental radiation measurements, the physics of nuclear radiation, radiochemical analysis, and education and training. The reports describe instruments for neutron measurement, radiation counting, and water monitoring; techniques for decontaminating liquid waste, dispersing stack gases, and detecting and absorbing beta, gamma, and neutron radiation. The reports also suggest consulting Laboratory Weekly Progress Reports for routine activities.
